I am so green with envy I could spit. A good friend of mine, Chris Dunphy, is currently traveling the west coast in his Tab Trailer. He’s documenting his travels on his blog and recently posted an update.
According to PhoneScoop, Sprint announced on Tuesday a new service that would allow it’s users to send text messages to landline phones.
A few weeks ago, I was leaving the Nashville Main Library when I ran something quite enlightening happened. I had been in between appointments, so I had stopped off at the library to get a little work done. It was time to go to my next appointment, so I packed everything up and headed to the elevators.
A friend of mine sent me an e-mail this morning with a link to a Google Video and I just _HAD_ to share it. The video is a short film by Claude Lelouch entitled C’était un rendez-vous.
I’ve written in the past how much I enjoy coffee, most especially French Press coffee. Unfortunately, my french press broke, so I’ve been using my trusty old Krups AromaMaster. It makes a decent cup of coffee, but it’s just not as good as a French Press.

Last Thursday Holly and I woke up to find that we had no hot water. I figured that it was nothing more than the pilot light on the water heater that needed to be re-lit. Unfortunately, as I went into the garage to light it, I discovered water flowing out the top of the water heater, all over the garage floor and down the driveway into the street. This was just the beginning to a very long few days.

I’ve created, managed and published a lot of web sites in my day, but I still get a kick out of seeing someting I’ve submitted appear on someone else’s site.
I’ve been a fan of IMAP e-mail for several years now. I can’t laud the benefits enough of having a centrally accessible e-mail server that I can manage from any number of computers, or devices. Alas, as nice as IMAP is, it’s not the panacea to all my e-mail woes. There are still issues that I deal with each and every day.
