Well, you're both very welcome. I was only (partly) kidding when I made my previous comment, but I'm glad to see you and Lois both happy and productive...especially that now you have some more free time on your Tuesdays! ;->

I'm loving observing the process..there's more to come. You know you can call anytime--I've got to get going on this whole blogging thing, and you're my blogging guru.

Remember, it's the Mac; it's supposed to be fun! Life's too short to spend all your time looking through Windows.

Mike:

I have to also give credit where credit is due. Fred guided me to one of the best purchases I have ever made in the realm of computers. I was extremely doubtful about buying an iMac even though you kept telling me I should. I didn't want to give up the Microsoft suite because I was used to it and didn't want to purchase new software for an iMac.

Then Fred let you in on a great deal because the Apple guy was going to sell the demo iMac that I preferred (I think it's called lampshade style) with all the software already installed for about 1/2 price. It still took me forever to make the decision but I finally bit the bullet and made the purchase.

Needless to say, this has been the best computer I have ever had and it took no time at all to get oriented to a Mac.

Thanks Fred for pushing me the right way.
