Holly Live Tonight At Lyrix

A microphoneHolly will be performing live at Lyrix tonight at 8pm. She's part of a ladies' night with an organization called the Women in Music Business Association (WMBA) of which she is a member.

Holly's performing a total of four songs - three originals and one cover. Her set will include:

» I Wanna Live Like That - by Larry Wayne Clark
» Lost In America - by Larry Wayne Clark and Tom Fisch
» You Don't Know Me - by Eddie Arnold and Cindy Walker
» What's Not To Like - by Holly Ashby

This is the same set she did at Dan McGuinnes back in May, but what's different is the fact that she has different instrumentation. instead of the full band, she's doing this as an acoustic set with her friend Tarryn on acoustic guitar. Tarryn and Holly make a nice combination and hearing them at rehearse at the house on Tuesday was a real treat.

If you're free tonight, please stop by Lyrix. If you're not familiar with the name, don't worry because it just changed. It was previously Ga' Dangs and prior to that it was the old Sole Mio. Regardless of the name, it's on the corner of 1st and Peabody, just past the FOO bridge. If you need more directions, you can get them at this Google Map.

Show starts at 8pm and I think Holly is the second person up. It's inside, so you won't have to brave the heat. :) Hope to see you there!
